THE ROLE
The Senior Arboriculturist role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who enjoys and thrives on having variety in their working day. Each day will bring new challenges and interesting projects to apply your skills to and lead on. The role includes delivering a range of arboricultural consultancy and advisory services for a variety of projects and contracts; liaising with clients, contractors and statutory agents; setting and managing project budgets and timescales, undertaking arboricultural surveys and the production of high-quality technical reports. There will also be the opportunity to strengthen management skills by providing support to a growing team of arboriculturists.
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional experience in a similar role within an arboricultural, or multidisciplinary, consultancy (a minimum of 5-10 years preferred).
- An Arboricultural Qualification to NQF Level 5 (FdSc Arb) or equivalent.
- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector qualification (*optional)
- CSCS card holder (*optional)
- Full UK driving licence.
- Exemplary professional conduct.
- Highly competent in the use of office programmes, and mapping software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal qualities consistent with First Ecology values
