First Ecology was delighted to receive the Willmott Dixon Sustainability Award 2016 at The Wales and West Supply Chain Conference held at the Bristol Grand Hotel earlier this month.
The award was presented in recognition of the significant ecological contribution which First Ecology, together with members of the WTC, had made in relation to Willmott Dixon projects under the Ecological Framework Agreement initiated in 2014.
The Framework delivers local knowledge and national coverage through a network of 23 local ecological consultancies, all of which are affiliated to the Wildlife Trust. To date, First Ecology has provided a range of services including initial preliminary ecological appraisals, BREEAM assessments protected species surveys, licencing advice, mitigation design and post completion management specifications.
We are now looking forward to working with Willmott Dixon on a broader spectrum of development projects to help achieve their values which emphasise the importance of people, relationships, communities and the environment.
