Many environmental laws in the UK are based around EU legislation, and therefore the impact of voting to leave Europe on our natural environments is uncertain.
Whilst many of the details surrounding the future are to be decided much of the immediate focus will understandably be centred on the economy. There are strong links between the economy and environmental legislation in many key sectors including construction, engineering, farming, water and energy. As legislation develops, the ecological management within these sectors will continue to be important.
Whilst these issues are resolved First Ecology will keep track of the new UK regulations to ensure that we continue to provide an outstanding level of service for our clients.
